Vintage Memories Block of the Month

We are pleased to introduce another charming block of the month program.

Leslee Price has designed this lovely quilt featuring 1930s reproduction fabric. The centrepiece of the quilt is a gorgeous feathered star made using Marti Michell's Perfect Patchwork Template set. The quilt grows out in rounds and is finished off with yo-yo flowers and an appliqued vine. During this 6-month Block of the Month program, you will receive the patterns and fabrics needed to complete the quilt top including binding. You will also receive the Marti Michell's Perfect Patchwork Template set. The finished quilt measures 56" x 68". There is a $25 non-refundable start-up fee, then only $27.95 per month plus shipping for each kit.

The Quiltmaker vs. The Big Red Balls

Well I know it has been very quiet on the old blog lately. I have to apologize but days after the Creative Festival I flew down to Argentina to take on the Big Red Balls on Wipeout Canada! Under the guise of "The Quiltmaker" I made way through a series of obstacles competing with 19 other crazy contestants in an attempt to win $50,000. The episode will be airing on TV Tropolis in the spring and I will post the date as soon as it is available. Here are a couple of pictures of our crazy group as a sneak preview:
