Moving News, New Books, Classes Update...

Happy New Year everyone. I would like to thank everyone who came in and made last week's sale a huge success! We hope to keep the momentum going until the move (which is scheduled for the 28th of January)! We purchased out some inventory from an American quilt shop that recently closed its doors so have been expanding our sale shelves - we have lots of bargains for $5.99/metre and even less. I will get as many up online as I can. They are all top quality fabrics from RJR, Moda, Hofmann, Marcus Brothers etc. We also have a very special deal on fat quarters...and there are 1000s to choose from!

1 - 9 FQs ... $1.50 each!

10 - 24 FQs ... $1.25 each!

25 +++ FQs ... $1.00 each!

We have all sorts of new book titles for 2008!

My new favorite are the Aranzi Aronzo books: Fun Dolls and Cure Dolls.

The style of Aranzi Aronzo has been described as kawaii, meaning Japanese cute; using expressive mascots, Aranzi Aronzo has effectively created a colorful cast of characters featured in the books. If you love Tokyo modern or a Daiso aesthetic than this is the groovy new books for you!

This book by Aranzi Aronzo is filled with patterns and instructions for crafting more than 20 brand-new whimsical characters. Full-color, oversized pictures and easy-to-follow instructions accompany each project, including directions for making Lizard, penguins and the ultimate bad guy doll ... Kidnapper.
