New Groupings ... An Oriental and a Modern Paris Look

There are a couple of new collections in today: the first is a sumptuous Oriental Grouping from Hoffman called Nara Gardens and it is well priced at $11.10/metre (9.99/yard). Also new is Flights of Fancy from Michael Miller its funky French stylings would be great in handbags or totes!

Ann just finished quilting up a terrific Sheri Berry Hallowe'en panel from Northcott - it's a spooktacular little wallhanging!

Stop the Presses...Roxanne's Needles are Back in Stock

For everyone who has ever been a fan of Roxanne's needles in their famous little shell-topped tubes I have great news. After a long, long wait Roxanne's needles are back on the market and as good as ever. For those of you who haven't used them: each needle is hand made in England and features an evenly tapered shape, quality plating, and the strength to handle tiny, even stitching. These needles have the largest eye on the market. Quality needles do make a difference in your hand quilting. There are 50 in a tube for only 8.99!

Another cool notion is the new Stack 'N Store Bobbin Tower from Nancy Ziemans and Clover. Keep your bobbins organized. Each of the 6 sections hold 5 bobbins.

What I did On My Summer Vacation

I 'm back from a week fishing with my hubby and sons. The weather was pretty least for this "bummer" of a "summer" that we are having. While they are fishing I get to work on my quilting projects and this year I brought along some stitcheries from Bareroots.

I finished up another Little Stitchie ... this one is called "Seasons Come" ... we have the kits available for sale and they are only $9.99.

I also got a good jump start on our next block of the month will be starting in October with registration starting in September. I will provide all the nitty gritty details soon but in the meantime here is a sneak peak at some of the blocks:

Grandma Giddywinks

I found a cute quilting game today. I'm not sure that Grandma Giddywinks puts her blocks together in a logical way but she is very enthusiastic.
