To Market, To Market...

Karen and I have just arrived home from the International Quilt Market in Minneapolis. Quilt Market is a show set up for quilt shop owners to gather, take classes and see everything that is new on the market for quilters. There are over 450 different vendors at market ranging from the big fabric companies like Moda and Northcott to independent pattern designers, button makers, and everything in between. There were wonderful pattern makers from Australia, fabric companies from Japan and well everything and everone that could possibly tempt a quilter.

We came home loaded with goodies (according to the scales at the airport ... 220 pounds worth of fabric, patterns, notions, threads...), brimming with ideas and having ordered more for the months ahead.
We will be sharing everything with you as quickly as we can get it online!
My favourite find this year was Amy Bradley's newest charmer the Fabric Addict!

Isn't she hilarious? Not only will she now be living with us (thanks Amy!) but we have the Fabric Addict - Doll Patterns available in the shop now! The detailing is amazing she is armed with bags of goodies: fat quarter bundles, magazines, patterns - and they are all in miniature!
What does our Fabric Addict do ... well she Finds the Fabric, Hugs the Fabric, Buys the Fabric and then Stashes the Fabric (much to her husband's chagrin). We also have the pattern to make these hilarious wallhangings (and they come with the preprinted text fabric and a bonus tote bag pattern).

As a vendor at Quilt Market, I do not always get out and look at all the beautiful booths so thanks for sharing!!

That's pretty cool you let your readers know what went on!!
