Blogathon Canada in Saskatchewan & Manitoba!

Isn't it fun to be able to travel across our great country from the comfort of your living room? We know you've been having a great time visiting BC, the Maritimes, and Alberta. Today we're going to make two stops - Saskatchewan & Manitoba!

The Hosts

Flo at Butterfly Quilting

Flo is a mother to three grown children, and a recently retired physical therapist. She fills her time with quilting, travel and in her own words "spending way too much time reading blogs!"  She says, "I have only been quilting for about 3 years, so consider myself a relative beginner, but have learned so much from fellow bloggers. I love how supportive and encouraging this online community is."

Kathy at Tamarack Shack

When Kathy is not shoveling snow or kayaking out on the lake she is either working on one of her latest quilting projects or quilting for her clients on her longarm. Kathy has had her longarm business and blog for 5 years now and has been quilting for 18 years. Kathy says, "I love all kinds of quilts both modern and traditional and am addicted to dyeing fabric, especially the snow dyeing method."

Flo and Kathy have chosen delicious goodies from our store to giveaway on their blogs and have a great list of blogs for you to visit. Check them out and enter the giveaways on their blogs to win amazing prizes!

Giveaway from Aurifil

Our featured sponsor day is Aurifil.

Aurifil thread is "the bomb".  Aurifil is a high quality thread that has a long staple so is unlikely to tangle or break and has very low lint .  The 50 wt is our go to thread for piecing whether by hand or machine. It would be amazing just based on its quality but the price is very reasonable too!  Thanks Aurifil!
- Judy

Aurifil is offering a 50wt Eat Your Fruits n' Veggies Thread Kit by Pat Sloan to one lucky winner. You can use these threads for hand appliqué, machine appliqué and machine quilting. The box has 10 spools of yummy colors. Each spool is 220 yards of pure delight!

For a chance to win the Eat Your Fruits n' Veggies Thread Kit by Pat Sloan leave a comment on this post. Winners will be chosen at the end of the Blogathon and contacted by e-mail and announced on our blog on Monday, November 25th.

This giveaway is now closed. Please check our blog for the winners.

All giveaways on Blogathon Canada  are open to everyone! International participants are welcome!

If you are a no-reply comment blogger or a Word Press blogger please leave your email address in your comment so we can contact you if you win.

Many thanks to Aurifil and Alex Veronelli for this great giveaway!

Head on over to Butterfly Quilting & Tamarack Shack for the party!
