Fundamentals Sew Along - Week 42

Hi Everyone:

     I hope you all have had a good week.  And if you are from the Toronto area, are recuperating from the Creative Needlework Festival.  It was a very busy weekend and I hope I inspired people to try English Paper Piecing.

     This weeks block is called Fox And Geese.  Sew  pieced triangles from fabric number 1 and 2 quarter square triangles.  Make four of these.  Trim your corners and set aside.



Pieced Triangles

     Sew your pieced triangle to the larger triangle. Make four of these. When you are piecing these segments you will find it easier to have the pieced triangle on top.  Doing this  you will avoid catching the seam allowances on the feed dogs.

Lay your blocks out in the order that they will be put together. Assemble them in rows.
