Kona Club Challenge!

We're so excited about the Kona Club Challenge!

We began a Kona Solids stash builder program in June 2012 called the Kona Club. Each month members receive 4 fat quarters/4 half yards of Kona Cotton Solids at their doorstep. The colours are chosen by the team at Sew Sisters using a theme and photograph for inspiration.

For the Kona Club Challenge, Sew Sisters invites guest bloggers to choose a colour grouping from the Kona Solids we send out each month for Kona Club, and make something fun and creative.

It could be anything the guest blogger chooses - a mini quilt, a bag, a purse, a wall hanging - as long as it uses four fat quarters from the colour groups we've sent out on Kona Club.

The guest blogger will then create a detailed tutorial to share on the Sew Sisters blog.

We're happy to announce our first guest blogger -  Kristie Maslow from OCD: obsessive crafting disorder - who will be posting her tutorial on March 15!

We can't tell you what it is yet but we will tell you that it will be a lot of fun!

So starting March 15, we will have a guest blogger each month who will post a complete tutorial of the project she/he came up with for the Kona Club Challenge!

And what's more, there will be a giveaway each month of the Kona Solids that the guest blogger has chosen!

So follow our blog and come back on the 15th for a great tutorial and a giveaway!
