Off to the Yukon!

We're so happy to be visiting the Yukon today on Blogathon Canada. We were only able to find a few Yukon bloggers but they are great! If you are a quilting blogger in the Yukon please leave a comment on the host bloggers blog posts so we can all connect.

Janet our host blogger has lived in the Yukon for 35 years. Janet is a quilter and enjoys being part of the online quilting community. She participates in swaps and online quilting bees and challenges and has found much inspiration and encouragement from the quilting bloggers. Janet is giving away the Mighty Moose Table  Runner Kit along with a metre of fabric from the Stonehenge Oh Canada Line. Go here to visit Janet at Caribou Crossing Chronicles.

Vivian blogs at Quilting under the Midnight Sun. Vivian loves to quilt and cross-stitch so she often combines stitchery in her work. You must check out her recent Christmas ornaments. Her quilts are full of color and she loves browns, golds and oranges and is giving away a fat quarter bundle of Bali Handpaints in the same colors. So head on over and meet our second host blogger from the Yukon. Go here: Quilting Under the Midnight Sun.

Giveaways are still open on the other blogs so head back and enter.

Thank you, thank you for hosting this Blogathon! It has been a wonderful way to get connected with great quilters and their blogs all across Canada! I have really enjoyed reading all the blogs and getting to know more about what quilters are creating!

I thank you, too, though I probably shouldn't, as I have spent the bulk of this week reading blogs, responding to blogs, reading the bloggers responses to me, then responding again (in some cases)! Not to mention being led astray by all the links posted on each blog . . . who knew the blogosphere was so BIG??
But it's been a fun ride. Now back to clearing a work space so I can post pictures of something other than increasing numbers of fabric purchases . . .
This has been fabulous, really. Hope you do it again (but maybe not next week!!). I have so many new 'friends' now, too, and I thank you for that as well. ~ Linne
