It's a toss up between Bonnie Tyler and Heart. But I'm going for Heart purely because Alone is one of my favourite songs. I NEED a Kona bundle. I received one as a gift from my daughter before. I wish I could post a picture here of the trapunto quilt I made with it.Is time to make another, now that my skills with trapunto have improved.

I work at a quilt shop and I love to organize the solids,just to touch the Konas.

I missed the 80's! I was having babies. Probably David Bowie would be my choice although the Canadian group Rough Trade was pretty special. Maybe they were the 70's? There are no solids in my stash so a bundle of Kona would be nice. Happy holiday today everyone.

I was a huge Depeche Mode fan (though I wouldn't call them 'rock'). I remember seeing them at Exhibition Place about a million years ago (or, you know, in '87-ish)

Aerosmith especially since having the reminders with some of the songs on American Idol and Steven Tyler on the show. I became a Gramma to my first granson,Ethan, this week. So does that mean I win the fabric too along with the award for the cutest baby in the world??

I was a kid in the 80's, and the only non-kids' record (yes, record as in LP) I owned was Madonna's True Blue. I knew all the words. But hands down my favourite 80's song was Tiffany's "I think we're alone now." Not that I had any clue what the song was about, but I could sing the whole thing from memory - and often did.

Those are some nice solids...
